About us

The Global Centre for Law, Business and Economy (GCLBE) is an elite research, policy and implementation entity that works in the development space using a multidisciplinary lens. With a focus cutting across youth/workforce development, trade, MSMEs, technology, housing, public-private partnerships, and climate change, GCLBE aims to be a collaborative hub for thought leaders across different disciplines and geographies. GCLBE uses an approach that combines the strengths of the public, private and social sectors and is dedicated to creating the partnerships required for addressing key African and global challenges. To deliver on its vision, the Centre has forged strategic partnerships with entities such as the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Africa PPP Advisory (AP3), amongst others. Over the years, GCLBE has trained members of staff of different ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) of government, as well as private sector stakeholders. GCLBE is also the organiser of the Africa Climate Forum, an annual event that gathers leading minds to define and operationalise climate mitigation/adaptation pathways for Africa.

Our Vision is to be an elite Centre that is the focal point for research, capacity building and implementation with respect to key African and global challenges
